Ah, the best part…the markets. Here you’ll find useful descriptions of some of the (and ever increasing) markets I have visited in Latin America.
A huge part of the satisfaction I find in buying at the markets is the discovery of the one-of-a-kind gorgeous blouse or the talented artisan amidst all the noise, color and chaos of the streets brimming over with people.
While I often buy directly at the markets, I also use them as an opportunity to familiarize myself with the handicrafts of the region, and with luck, to encounter potential suppliers for Latin Threads.
